Coaching Philosophy
My philosophy is very much a holistic approach where I look at all aspects of the game. I believe that the club face rules when it comes to technical work, but club path and body movement are also key. Personally, I like to spend a lot of time with pupils out on the golf course as I firmly believe you have to learn to perform in ‘real golf’ situations.

Why Book With Me?

Every lesson is designed to be enjoyable and engaging, so you leave having had a great experience as well as having made real progress.

You will finish each session feeling happy, confident and completely clear on the critical steps you need to take to improve.

My aim is to create a positive learning environment where improvement feels simple, structured and motivating every time you step onto the practice ground.
“My philosophy is very much a holistic approach where I look at all aspects of the game. Golf lessons should be fun and I always make sure my pupils leave having enjoyed their time.“

FAQs
What can a golfer expect from a lesson with you?
Enjoy a fun experience and gain an understanding of how to effectively swing the golf club, so you can achieve repeatable results.
What aspect of the game do you specialise in coaching?
I’ve coached now for 20 years, so I like to think I can coach complete beginners to competent golfers of any age.
What technology do you use in your lessons and how do you believe it helps?
OnForm, which offers instant, high-definition swing analysis and slow-motion playback. I also utilise the technology that is featured on the range.
What would you say to a beginner who might be nervous about the idea of taking up golf as a sport?
Nerves are a good thing. If you take up golf, you’ll learn a wonderful new skill, get exercise and also make lots of new friends as golf is very social.
What three words would best describe you as a coach?
Fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
