Testimonials
“I started playing golf in 2016 after only a handful of company golf days and no formal coaching. It all felt a little daunting at first, so I booked a few lessons with Nic to help me get started.
From the very beginning, Nic made everything easy to understand and there was never any pressure to learn at a certain pace.”

“After my first six lessons I had built a solid swing and quickly reduced my handicap from 26 to 22. As my game progressed, Nic helped me refine the more technical aspects and I’ve since brought my handicap down to 20.
I would happily recommend Nic to anyone starting golf or to players looking to improve their handicap.”
“My son first started lessons with Nic during one of his summer golf camps when he was around nine years old. The experience sparked a real interest in the game and he soon began individual lessons. Nic helped him build strong swing fundamentals, giving him a solid foundation to keep improving as he has grown.”

“As my son has developed, Nic has adapted his coaching to suit him and has always taken a genuine interest in his progress. I have also had lessons with Nic, and he has helped me iron out years of bad habits. His enthusiasm, knowledge and ability to quickly identify what needs to change make him an excellent coach. I would happily recommend Nic to golfers of any age or ability.”
“I started having lessons with Nic at a time when my swing was very inconsistent and with my handicap at 28+. We worked on all aspects of the game from grip through to ball striking. Nic always kept the sessions nice and relaxed from the offset which really made it easy to understand them and more fun.”

“Every week he would adapt the lessons as I evolved and make small tweaks which has really helped with the consistency aspect of my game and brought my handicap down to about 20 today. Nic’s knowledge of the game is impressive coupled with his excellent teaching methods, huge patience and a great sense of humour. I continue lessons today with Nic and confident he will have me down to a 15 handicap in no time. I would highly recommend Nic to anyone looking to improve their game, as I did to my father who just completed his first set of lessons as a new comer to golf and thoroughly enjoyed!”
FAQs
What can a golfer expect from a lesson with you?
You can expect lessons with me to be informative, with concise and accurate instructions on how to improve your game. I believe lessons should be an experience, so expect fun and lots of laughter on your journey to playing better golf.
What aspect of the game do you specialise in coaching?
I specialise in all areas of the game, but my particular areas of expertise are the full swing, chipping and junior development.
What would you say to a beginner who might be nervous about the idea of taking up golf as a sport?
I mean it when I say this truly is the greatest game in the world! Everyone has started somewhere, so let loose and come give it a whack! You don’t have to be the greatest player in the world to enjoy the game. My favourite thing is being able to enjoy the outdoors with three friends or three people I have just met and laugh all day. Remember that at its core, golf is a social sport.
What three words would best describe you as a coach?
Approachable, energetic and driven.
What technology do you use in your lessons and how do you believe it helps?
I use a Foresight GCQUAD launch monitor in conjunction with the ONFORM video analysis platform to provide quantitative data for my students. Using technology helps to mark out the initial blueprint for improvement, give us real-time feedback as to whether we are achieving the goals/changes set throughout a session and build a database we can use to track future progress by being able to compare where we once were.
