Golf has long been known as a game for the elite and the older generation. But at MY Golf Academy, we are on a mission to change that perception. Our objective is to get children to not only love golf, but importantly to love playing golf.

As an Academy, we understand the importance of building the skills needed to play the game and our weekly coaching classes are designed to do just that. But we also recognise that children need to progress from the practice range to the golf course to truly understand the game and ultimately love the game.

Our new and exciting programme, the ‘Fairways Junior Golf Certificate Scheme’, is designed to do just this.

The scheme consists of 10 initial levels for our young stars to aim for. We understand that every child is different and has their own pace of learning. That’s why our certificate scheme is designed to cater to individual needs and abilities recognising their progression from the range to the golf course.

The ‘Fairways Junior Golf Certificate Scheme’ is not just about golf, it’s about creating a positive, social and enjoyable learning experience for children. We want to make sure that every child who walks through our doors not only learns the game of golf, but also develops a passion for it. And we believe that our certificate scheme is a step in the right direction.

One of the highlights of the ‘Fairways Junior Golf Certificate Scheme’ is the introduction of the PB (Personal Best) certificate. This certificate is awarded to children who achieve their personal best score on the course. We believe that this not only instils a sense of accomplishment in the child, but also motivates them to constantly improve and push their limits.
