Most club golfers will try and hit wedge shots with ‘feel’ but if we’re not training that feel every day, it’s unlikely to go well! Instead, learn how far you hit your wedges when you make a 1/2 and 3/4 swing. This gives you something to refer to when deciding how big of a swing to make for the wedge shot distance you’re facing.
